PROGRAMS
Project R.O.C.K. South provides a supportive & supervised environment for students assigned out-of-school suspension. Rather than remaining unsupervised at home, students attend the program where they stay engaged academically, build life skills, and receive guidance that supports a successful return to school.

Who Can Attend
Students in grades K–12 residing in St. Lucie County with a school-issued suspension referral. The program is offered completely free of charge.

Academic Support & Daily Structure
Students participate in a structured school-day schedule that mirrors the expectations of a traditional learning environment. During their time at Project R.O.C.K. South, students:
-
Complete assigned schoolwork from their school
-
Receive supervised study time and academic support
-
Use provided laptops and internet to access schoolwork
-
Maintain attendance and academic credit
By remaining academically engaged, students avoid falling behind and return to school better prepared to succeed.
Workshops/Seminars
As part of the Project R.O.C.K. South Inc. program, we have community agencies that visit our site and host an interactive workshop/seminar with the students. It is designed to help students reflect on their choices while learning tools for positive decision-making and personal growth.
The students are engaged in a variety of important discussion topics such as:
-
Conflict Resolution
-
Bullying
-
Self-Esteem
-
Peer Pressure
-
HIV & STDs
-
Drugs, Violence
-
Anger Management

Staff work with students in group and individual settings to reinforce respectful behavior, healthy communication, and positive growth.

Program Certificate
At the conclusion of the program, students receive a Project R.O.C.K. South Completion Certificate verifying attendance, participation, and compliance with behavioral expectations.
This certificate MUST be submitted to the student’s school to validate attendance and academic credit for the suspension period.
